UBOX (Ultimate Box)

Jérémie and I are happy to introduce you to the U Box.

During one of our meetings, Jérémie showed me a card case offering many possibilities. On my side, I had been developing a multifunctional case for several years. Two completely different but complementary principles. We decided to merge our ideas to bring you the best box on the market.

The U Box is a true Swiss army knife. With more than 7 functions, it offers endless possibilities.

Delivered in its case and accompanied by over 40 minutes of video support.

Functions:

Visual or delayed card change: Instantly or at your chosen moment, change one or several cards.

Appearance and disappearance: Make cards, coins, or other small objects appear or vanish inside the U Box.

Card steal: In one smooth, quick motion, steal one or more cards from the deck. This function allows for card-to-box effects or can replace a palm.

2 peek methods: Perfect for mentalists. Two clean ways to secretly gain information. Place a playing card or a written note in the U Box and secretly retrieve the information.

Loader: Load one or more cards simply by placing your deck in the U Box. The loader triggers mechanically—you choose when to activate it. You can also get rid of one or more cards using this principle.

Place card(s) at the top, bottom, or middle of the deck: After loading one or more cards into the U Box, you can return the deck to the case and load the card(s) on top, bottom, or in the middle of the deck.

6 Visual Routines:

These routines have been built, studied, and tested for professional performance.

Imitation

A card is selected by a spectator and placed face up on the table (e.g., the 6 of Hearts). The spectator shuffles the deck. The magician puts the deck back into the case and waves the 6 of Hearts over it, commanding the three other cards of the same suit to reveal themselves. The deck is removed from the case and three cards have turned over. Even more astonishing: when turned over one by one, the backs of the cards are now blue—even the spectator’s selected card.

U Win

A variation of Imitation: Want to demonstrate simple and effective cheating? A spectator selects a card and places it face down on the table. They shuffle and examine the deck. You put the deck back in the case. With a magical gesture, four cards are revealed at different positions in the deck. When turned over one by one, they form a royal flush—and of course, the spectator’s chosen card is the ace…

Catch the Card

A selected and signed card is lost in the deck. The magician shows the empty card case to the spectator. The case is tossed into the air to catch the “soul” of the chosen card. The magician shows empty hands, opens the case, and removes the signed card…

Sandwich

Two aces are placed in the card case. A signed card, lost in the deck, ends up inside the case—between the two aces!

Prediction

A blue-backed card is placed in the magician’s jacket pocket as a prediction. The spectator shuffles and freely selects a card, which is placed in the card case.

The magician places the prediction card face down on the table in full view. The case is opened and the spectator’s card is revealed—it matches the prediction exactly.

Under the Table

A selected, signed card is lost in the deck, which is then placed in its case. The spectator chooses a spot on the table. The magician places the case on that exact point. Using just fingertips, the case is pressed down on the table. The left hand pulls out the cards that have passed through the table. The deck is laid out, the case is reassembled, and shown to be empty. It is then waved over the deck as if to absorb a card. The magician opens the case and removes… the spectator’s signed card!
